The Fire Within...

   

Maybe it's time to start a new fire within, 

Give it as much fuel as it takes. 

As the sun sets make it shine. 

As in the serene warmth a new hope bakes.

 The power of fire rushes through veins, 

So takes over the spirit to protect it from storms and rains. 

Although the smoke is asphyxiating

  And the eyes never seem to stop watering, 

The fire has to survive the cold night,

 Giving it all its might.

 It really is the time to start a new fire within, 

Give it all the fuel and tears it takes.

 The warmth, The strength, and the shine are really worth it, 

Even the moon proudly looking over knows it.
